Icebreakers help spark fun, interesting conversations. Furthermore, icebreakers help us create and maintain a culture that values and fosters conversation. Without icebreakers, Sweet Pea wouldn’t be as fun and interesting of a place.

Being creative and coming up with unique and original icebreakers is something that adds a ton of value to our community, but if you really can’t think of a good icebreaker on your own, searching for ‘good icebreakers’ on Google should help.

To undo an accidental left swipe on the home screen, you can either shake your phone to undo your left swipe, or tap the “…” menu in the upper right hand corner of the home screen and click the “Undo” option from the drop down menu.

If you are receiving too many inbound messages on Sweet Pea, there are a few ways to solve this problem.

  • Turn off ‘Discoverable’ in the app settings page. Turning off Discoverable will hide your profile from users who have not already messaged you.
  • The ‘Answers’ section of your inbox is tiered in to two ‘filing cabinet’ style sections. The first section shows inbound messages from people you like and mutual likes. The second sections shows messages from people who are not mutual likes, and who you have not yet liked. Closing either of these sections will no longer notify you of new, inbound messages from people in either of these sections.
  • Upgrading to VIPea will give you the option to only display your profile to people you have liked and / or messaged, which will drastically reduce the number of inbound messages you receive.

To report someone, tap the ellipsis in the upper right hand corner of their profile photo and select the option that says “Report…”You will be able to select your reason from reporting them, as well as leave additional comments for Sweet Pea admins to review. If you feel unsafe at any time, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@sweetpea.co

There are a few reasons this might be happening.

  1. Bad network connection. Make sure you are somewhere with good reception or a stable wifi connection.

  3. Outdated software. Make sure you have updated your OS to the latest available version, and updated Sweet Pea to the most recent version available as well.
  4. Software loading error. Try force quitting the app and reopening it. If this does not work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling Sweet Pea.
  5. If you live in a rural area, or outside of a metropolitan city, its possible that there simply aren’t any other users around. If this is the case, we hope you like Sweet Pea enough to tell your friends about it.
